OVERVIEW
The objective of this guide is to teach people, who have never owned plants before, how to care for succulents in a fun and playful way. Young people new to growing plants often turn to succulents as their first plant-owning experience since they are easy to care for. This guide is tailored to those young adults who are buying succulents for the first time.
SOLUTION
The guide is broken down into eight steps with accompanying illustrations to help the reader understand the instructions. I created the icons with a crafty, cut paper aesthetic to mimic the creative-type person who would be reading the guide. Bold colors mimic the hues found in succulents and playful copy text makes it a fun and easygoing experience.
